Team Called to male suffering chest pains

The team were called out to assist East Midlands Ambulance service with a male suffering chest pains whilst out walking.

The man, who suffers from Angina, was treated on scene by EMAS for an acute Angina episode with the team providing shelter. There wasThe male was then carried by team stretcher to the road.

He was taken to the Royal Derby Hospital for further assessment and to rule out the possibility of a heart-attack. 

We have since heard back from the casualty that he had not suffered a heart-attack, and it was likely to have been angina.
